ETernal adventures Uk,

the mission

We believe in the beauty of the natural world.

At Eternal Adventures, our mission is simple: to bring every person closer to the power of real adventure while fostering deep appreciation for the landscapes we explore. From your very first hesitant step with zero experience, right through to conquering challenging peaks and wild landscapes.

We guide small groups on expert-led journeys across the UK's most inspiring mountains, woodlands, and trails: building fitness, boosting mental wellbeing, and creating lasting memories in nature. We practice and teach principles that protect these special places - Adventure should never come at nature's expense.

Whether it's your first hill, a scenic waterfall walk, or an epic multi-peak challenge, we're here to support you every step of the way: safely, supportively, and with genuine encouragement.

Your adventure starts here.

Endurance athlete, Qualified Mountain Leader, and the driving force behind Eternal Adventures.

From nearly 40 ascents of Yr Wyddfa to guiding the world's strongest disabled man to the top of Snowdon — and becoming the first to summit and solo-cycle between the UK's five highest peaks — Matt lives the adventures he guides

A man hiking on a rocky trail in a mountainous area with dark, overcast skies.
After years of personal challenges and guiding people from all walks of life, I founded Eternal Adventures in 2025 to change how we experience the UK’s outdoors — and the world beyond.

Education is key: knowing how to move safely, respectfully, and sustainably turns a walk into a lifelong passion. My goal is simple: deliver professional, inclusive guiding that leaves the mountains better than we found them — and leaves you inspired to return.

  • Born with a love for the outdoors, Matt tackled his first major challenges as a teenager: completing the Ten Tors 35-mile in 2006 and the 45-mile the following year, followed by the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in 2007. These built the endurance that would define his path.

  • In 2022, Matt earned his Qualified Mountain Leader status — the gold standard for guiding in the UK mountains. That same year he completed the Everest Base Camp Trek, testing himself on a global stage while honing skills he'd bring home to the UK.

  • Matt's personal drive is relentless:

    • Nearly 40 summits of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by 2026

    • 10 ascents of Ben Nevis

    • 10 traversals of the iconic (and exposed) Crib Goch ridge

    • Multiple completions of the National 3 Peaks and Welsh 3 Peaks in 24 hours

    • The Welsh 3000s in 24 hours

    • Snowdon Super 7 (unconfirmed first ascent route/combination)

    • Race Against Silent Darkness (2023)

    • Lochaber 4000s (2025)

    • Challenge X ‘Wave of Light’ (2025)

    • But his proudest milestone came in 2024: becoming the first person in history to summit the highest mountain in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland — then solo cycle between them all.

  • Matt doesn't just climb for himself. He believes everyone deserves the mountains. He's guided toddlers (as young as 2) up Pen y Fan, supported everyday walkers to their first summits, and helped achieve life-changing goals — including taking the world's strongest disabled man to the top of Snowdon. These moments fuel his mission: education + safety = transformative experiences.
