Matt Roberts

Founder & Mountain Leader

Matt Roberts founded Eternal Adventures in 2025 with a passion for safe, respectful, and professional guiding in the UK outdoors. An experienced endurance athlete and Mountain Leader, he brings extensive expertise from nearly 40 Snowdon summits, multiple Ben Nevis ascents, the Everest Base Camp Trek, and his historic 2024 challenge of summiting the highest peaks in all five nations before solo cycling between them.

He is committed to making adventure accessible and enjoyable for everyone through education and inclusive guiding.

Neve Shorter

Operations manager

Neve Shorter is the Operations Manager at Eternal Adventures, bringing structure and creativity to everything behind the scenes. She handles creative marketing, general admin, and keeps all the moving pieces of the business running smoothly — often described by Matt as the driving force and the calm centre to his many big ideas.

A keen mountain lover herself, Neve enjoys getting out into the hills whenever she can, experiencing first-hand the joy and satisfaction that comes with a great day outdoors.

Known for his friendly and supportive style, he makes every adventure enjoyable and accessible while sharing his deep love for the mountains.

Outside of guiding, Liam is usually found hiking with friends and family, staying active through sport (including hockey), or working on his personal challenge of carrying 15kg across 5,475 miles in support of the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
