Climb to the highest peak in Wales at 1,085 m via the lesser-used but historically rich Watkin Path. Discover the route’s connection to William Gladstone, enjoy cascading waterfalls, and hike through a wonderful valley dotted with old slate mines under the watchful eye of Snowdon.
You’ll tackle the tough final section under the summit and top out in a rewarding manner, capturing your achievement on the roof of Wales.

Make it a thrill-seekers weekend dream?
Add Tryfan North Ridge to your basket and pay only £99 for both trips!
Achieve an incredible feat by navigating across one of the UK’s most famous ridge lines at 923 m, set in the heart of Eryri National Park. Choose whether or not to take on the pinnacles at the end, then progress onto Bwlch Coch and up Wales’ second highest peak, Garnedd Ugain. This is another Grade 1 scramble but is much more blocky than Crib Goch, topping out at 1,065 m. On a clear day the summit trig of Garnedd Ugain gives incredible views of the Snowdon summit. Once you’ve stood on Wales’ highest peak, you’ll descend via the Pyg Track back to Pen Y Pass.
This is a serious and rewarding mountain day for those with good fitness, focus and nerve.

Make it a thrill-seekers weekend dream?

Climb to the top of one of the UK’s most prominent peaks, where the twin stones ‘Adam’ and ‘Eve’ provide one of the most instantly recognisable and famous summit tops in the British Isles!
Making your way up over some exposed and interesting points, you’ll get to climb the Cannon Stone and the North Tower gully on your way to the top. It’s a fantastic challenge and one that will absolutely leave you wanting to explore more of Eryri National Park! After descending the South Ridge, you’ll make your way back to the car park feeling accomplished.
This is a serious and rewarding scramble on one of Wales’ most iconic mountains.

Experience this iconic Welsh peak, literally meaning ‘Chair of Idris’, and the wonderful crater lake at the foot of the mountain’s face. With a very light non-graded scramble at the summit, this is a very exciting and enjoyable walk that has a beautiful charm all of its own.
Cadair Idris feels like the perfect bridge between your earlier adventures on Pen y Fan and the bigger days still to come on Snowdon. You’ll walk through dramatic glacial scenery, stand beside the stunning Llyn Cau (one of Wales’ most beautiful mountain lakes), and finish with that rewarding final push to the summit. On a clear day the views stretch across the Mawddach Estuary, the Rhinogs, and out to the sea — a true highlight of Eryri National Park.
