ABOUT YOUR ADVENTURE

Expert guiding and navigation support across both days
Full safety briefings and group management
A memorable two-day Brecon Beacons experience
-
This weekend is ideal for people who enjoy variety and want to experience different types of scenery in the Brecon Beacons. It suits those who like a mix of relaxed and more challenging walking without committing to two very hard days back-to-back.
A reasonable level of fitness is needed, along with a positive attitude and the ability to be flexible across the two days.
-
Over the weekend you will explore two contrasting areas of the Brecon Beacons. On Saturday you’ll walk through Waterfall Country, taking in ancient woodland, gorges, and impressive waterfalls. On Sunday you’ll complete the classic Pen y Fan Horseshoe, traversing ridges and summits with excellent views.
The exact pacing each day will be adapted depending on the weather and what suits the group best. You can expect a varied and scenic weekend with a good balance of different landscapes.
-
May weather in the Brecon Beacons can be changeable. Conditions can vary between the two days, so layers and proper waterproofs are recommended. Paths in Waterfall Country can be slippery when wet.
-
All trips are led by qualified and experienced guides. We carry group safety equipment and will adjust routes or plans if conditions require it. Full safety briefings are given at the start of each day.
