  • Over the weekend you will explore two contrasting areas of the Brecon Beacons. On Saturday you’ll walk through Waterfall Country, taking in ancient woodland, gorges, and impressive waterfalls. On Sunday you’ll complete the classic Pen y Fan Horseshoe, traversing ridges and summits with excellent views.

    The exact pacing each day will be adapted depending on the weather and what suits the group best. You can expect a varied and scenic weekend with a good balance of different landscapes.

  • May weather in the Brecon Beacons can be changeable. Conditions can vary between the two days, so layers and proper waterproofs are recommended. Paths in Waterfall Country can be slippery when wet.
