Expert guiding and navigation support across both days

A memorable Lake District weekend experience
-
This weekend is ideal for people who want a mix of gentle scenic walking and a proper mountain day. It suits those who enjoy variety in their weekends and prefer not to do two very hard days back-to-back.
A reasonable level of fitness is needed, along with a positive attitude and the ability to be flexible across the two days.
-
Over the weekend you will experience two contrasting sides of the Lake District. On Saturday you’ll visit and walk around Ullswater, Windermere, and Derwentwater, enjoying the classic lakeland scenery. On Sunday you’ll ascend Scafell Pike from Wasdale, taking in dramatic views of Wastwater and the surrounding fells as you make your way to the summit.
The exact pacing each day will be adapted depending on the weather and what suits the group best. You can expect a rewarding weekend with a good balance of scenery and challenge.
-
August weather in the Lake District can be changeable. We may experience bright sunshine, rain, or mist, especially on the higher ground. Layers and proper waterproofs are recommended throughout the weekend.
-
All trips are led by qualified and experienced guides. We carry group safety equipment and will adjust routes or plans if conditions require it. Full safety briefings are given at the start of each day.
