The Ring of Steall is a demanding mountain challenge combining significant ascent, multiple Munro summits, exposed ridgelines and sections of scrambling across a sustained day in the Mamores. It tests physical fitness, confidence on technical terrain and the ability to maintain concentration and movement over a long mountain day.

This trip is not suitable for complete beginners. Previous mountain walking experience and a good level of fitness are strongly recommended. Participants should also be prepared for exposure, steep terrain and hands-on scrambling during sections of the route.
