This trip is well suited to people who want to climb Snowdon via a more historic and scenic route. It’s ideal if you enjoy a mix of valley walking and a steeper final push to the summit, and you’re happy to be flexible with the exact route on the day.
A good level of fitness is needed, along with a positive attitude and the ability to be adaptable.

We’ll follow the Watkin Path from the valley floor, passing through beautiful scenery with waterfalls and old industrial remains. The route becomes steeper in the final section as we make our way to the summit of Snowdon.
The exact details of the day will be shaped depending on the weather and what suits the group best. You can expect a rewarding climb with the chance to stand on the summit of Snowdon.

April weather in Eryri can be very changeable. We may experience bright sunshine, wind, rain, or even snow on the higher ground. Layers and proper waterproofs are essential.
-
All trips are led by qualified and experienced guides. We carry group safety equipment and will adjust the route or plans if conditions require it. Full safety briefings are given at the start of the day.
