The Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge is the perfect gateway into multi-peak endurance events. In one long, unforgettable day you will climb and descend three of Wales’ most iconic mountains: Snowdon (the highest), Cadair Idris, and Pen y Fan.
Starting in the dark at 4am from Llanberis, you’ll tackle Snowdon first, then drive across Wales to the dramatic Cadair Idris, before finishing with the classic Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons. This challenge will test your physical endurance, mental resilience, and mountain craft like never before.
It’s an incredible achievement and the ideal stepping stone for those considering the National 3 Peaks Challenge or any 24-hour mountain endurance tests. You’ll experience three completely different mountain landscapes in a single day while building the fitness, focus, and confidence needed for bigger adventures ahead.
